The lack of debate on the Maori Party's anti-white immigration policy has been a bit disappointing. The Dominion Post reported that an economist agreed that Maori have a genuine grievance against immigration (but an argument that doesn't actually amount to much), and the Herald just quoted an immigration recruitment consultant (who showed that white immigration has in some ways been on the decline). A better commentary was made by NoRightTurn, who calls Turia's policy a nasty racist, little blurt. Meanwhile the Guardian reports on a Pricewaterhousecoopers study which shows that 'the flow of migrant workers into the UK has boosted economic growth and helped keep a lid on inflation without undermining the jobs of British-born workers'.
